Responsibilities Maintain focus on tenant satisfaction and energy conservation
Troubleshoot and service all aspects of HVAC in high-rise apartment buildings including boilers (HTG/DHW), chillers, heat pumps, MUA, RTU and HRV/ERV systems
Perform regular preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
Provide consistent monitoring of automation systems
Willingness and ability to learn how to monitor and fine-tune buildings through our automation
systems
Oversee HVAC-related mechanical projects
Maintain HVAC logs as required
Regularly update knowledge and skills through employer-sponsored educational programs
Comply with all safety code requirements
Skills and Qualifications Gas Fitter License (G1) preferred; however, candidates with a G2 license will be considered based on relevant experience and qualifications.
Effective knowledge in HVAC automation systems is an asset
Refrigeration license (313D or 313A) is an asset.
Efficient time manager with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Solid work ethic with ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to communicate effective and professionally in-person, over the phone and via e-mail.
