What We Offer: Competitive wages: $45-$50/hour (negotiable based on experience)
Full-time, permanent position with room for growth

Consistent work schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible hours, no evenings, weekends, or holidays (unless negotiated).
Paid travel time and km compensation for out-of-town projects or material runs.

What We’re Looking For: We need a reliable, experienced leader who takes pride in their work, communicates effectively,



and enjoys teaching the next generation of Tradespeople.
This role will primarily focus on residential renovations and service upgrades, but will also include commercial projects and multi-family new builds.
Required Qualifications & Skills: Red Seal Electrician Certification
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Strong leadership skills – ability to delegate, mentor, and coordinate teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to plan and schedule projects efficiently
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Commitment to upholding MXS Electric’s high standards and core values
Basic tools: work boots, hard hat, hand tools, drill, and impact driver
Thorough knowledge of 2024 Canadian Electrical Code
Preferred Skills (an asset but not required): Occupational First Aid certification
Experience in project planning, material procurement, and manpower scheduling
Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety legislation
Ability to identify and implement cost-saving measures
Familiarity with various power tools and safe operation
Work Conditions: Indoor & outdoor work in all weather conditions
Active construction site environment
Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in attics
Primarily based in Kamloops, with some work within a one to two hour radius (travel time paid for out of-town jobs)
