Major Duties and Responsibilities: Hire, train, instruct and maintain all the disciplines required of all the production workers
Schedule all production workers, machine loadings and machinery and equipment maintenance
Execute the Master Schedule efficiently and effectively to ensure product delivery and on budget
Issue and expedite relevant QA documents, PPRR sheets, production notices and monitor costs
Ensure all equipment is in good protected working order and administer a Health and Safety Committee
Administer the company QA Process throughout the production process
Lead continuous improvement of all areas especially production and die improvement
Coordinate the purchase of all shop supplies and small tools through purchasing procedures
Assist to ensure accuracy of all warehouse inventories
Responsible for the storage, handling and processing of customer supplied products and materials.
Responsible for the identification of all products produced in house as per systems
Responsible for the handling, storage, packaging, preservation and available for delivery of product
Ensure practice of all quality policies and procedures in department to quality standards.
Training availability to all production personnel
Development a healthy, productive moral and work culture
Effective development and execution of 5S, Lean manufacturing, Kaisen, Poke Yoke and other systems
Ensure all employees perform in a safe manner and follow all safety procedures.
Initial Qualifications for Hire: 5-10 years previous similar experience in metal Fabrication / Stampings environment
Knowledge of blue print reading, SPC, supervision, computer literate
College Diploma program or University Degree
10 years Management / Supervision experience
6 Sigma or other qualifications and asset.
Salary Range: $105,000 – $115,000annually
