Medcan is seeking an experienced Echocardiography Technologist to enhance patient care in our Oakville clinic. This full-time role involves performing echo sonography exams and coordinating patient experiences.

Join Medcan's dedicated clinical team as a Cardiac Sonographer in Markham, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience, proficiently perform Resting Echo Scans, Carotid Intima-Media Thickness examinations, and FibroScans. You will also rely on your excellent communication and organizational skills to maintain quality patient interactions and ensure effective clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment
• Perform echo scans and CIMT/FibroScans




• Review patient medical history and consent
• Evaluate exam preparation and contraindications
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols

Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Echocardiography program
• Minimum one year experience as an Echo Sonographer
• CMRITO Specialty certification in Echocardiography
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and PACS
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
