This permanent position requires a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and timely execution of tasks. Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma and experience in civil engineering, with responsibilities including scheduling inspections, identifying deficiencies, and responding to inquiries related to service requests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and schedule road inspections for hazardous conditions • Document deficiencies per Minimum Maintenance Standards • Maintain road classification system with accurate records • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding service requests • Conduct condition assessments of City road infrastructure
Requirements: • High school diploma plus 1-2 years in Civil Engineering Technician • 1-2 years of related experience required • Membership with OACETT preferred • Valid Ontario Class G Drivers Licence • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
