Carbon Upcycling is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to bolster its engineering team. This role focuses on the design, development, and support of mechanical systems for pilot and commercial-scale facilities. Ideal candidates bring 12+ years of experience, preferably within heavy industrial sectors, to facilitate projects through all phases from concept to operation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, review, and optimize mechanical systems and equipment
• Develop detailed mechanical layouts and installation packages
• Facilitate procurement and technical evaluations of vendors
• Provide engineering support during construction and commissioning
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues to optimize operations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 12+ years in mechanical engineering roles
• Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) registration with APEGA
• Experience with heavy industrial equipment and piping systems
• Proficiency in CAD and MS Office software
