Your role and responsibilities
Our team is looking for candidates with exceptional technical aptitude, a passion for applied data science, and an interest in leveraging artificial intelligence, automation, and machine learning to solve real-world business challenges.
The successful candidate will join a fast-paced consulting team composed of Partners, Product Managers, Data Scientists, Architect, and Software Engineers to conceptualize, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions that address enterprise-scale problems. As a team, we pride ourselves on tackling some of the most complex challenges our clients face by combining subject matter expertise, data science, and technical execution.
As an AI & Automation Data Scientist Associate, you will have the chance to work with industry-leading data science, machine learning,
and AI technologies on cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and AWS. You will contribute to innovative projects that generate value for external client engagements and internal initiatives while collaborating with experienced practitioners across consulting, data science, and software engineering disciplines.

In this role, you will help clients unlock value from their data through advanced analytics, machine learning, automation, and Generative AI technologies.
In this role, you will:
Develop and deploy AI, machine learning, and automation solutions for enterprise clients
Analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights that support business decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions
Support the development of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and advanced analytics applications
Participate in proof-of-concept development, experimentation, and production deployment activities
Contribute to client presentations, technical demonstrations, and solution recommendations
Continuously build expertise in data science, machine learning, cloud technologies, and consulting practices
Candidates considered for positions located in Quebec must be fluent in French.
This opportunity is based in in Toronto, Calgary, or Montreal and supports Associate Consultant hiring cohorts commencing in May 2027 and September 2027. We are recruiting for both start dates and encourage eligible candidates to apply.
Successful applicants must have graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution prior to their employment start date. Please note that MBA and PhD graduates are not eligible for this program.
Required technical and professional expertise
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering,
Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, or a related technical field
Demonstrated familiarity or interest in machine learning, statistical analysis, artificial intelligence, data mining, or predictive modeling through academic projects, internships, research, hackathons, publications, or personal projects
Experience with one or more programming languages, preferably Python
Hands-on experience with GenAI and Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., Microsoft Agent Framework, LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen) and LLM concepts such as prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic workflows
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative reasoning skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to peers, managers, and clients
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Must be eligible to work full-time in Canada
Preferred technical and professional experience
Internship, co-op, research, or project experience in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, analytics, or software engineering
Experience using machine learning and data science libraries such as Scikit-learn, SciPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
Experience working with Generative AI, Large Language Models, and advanced AI frameworks
General familiarity with databases and data engineering technologies such as SQL, Kafka and distributed data platforms
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience developing AI prototypes, proof-of-concepts, or data-driven applications
Understanding of MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and governance concepts
Experience with automation technologies, AI agents, or enterprise AI solutions is an asset
