We are looking for a friendly, compassionate, and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for The Wellington. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with seniors and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A healthcare background or experience working with seniors would be a strong asset. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist residents, clients, families, visitors, and staff in a warm and skilled manner
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
Provide information and assistance to seniors and their families with patience and compassion
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Perform general administrative and clerical duties
Maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming reception area
Assist with data entry, filing, photocopying, and document preparation
Respond to inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate staff members
Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy and dignity of residents and clients
Support staff and management with administrative tasks as required
Qualifications Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience
Experience working with seniors is highly desirable
Healthcare experience or a healthcare-related background would be considered a strong asset
Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach when working with seniors
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, friendly, and positive attitude
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
