Enhance residents’ dining experiences as a Part Time Dietary Aide at Extendicare. You will assist with meal preparation, serve food, and maintain cleanliness in our residential care home.

As a Dietary Aide, you will report to the Director of Culinary Services and help set up and serve meals in a qualified manner. You'll assist in preparing beverages, salads, and desserts, ensuring that everything is ready for service. This role also involves cleaning dishware, clearing tables, and taking part in special events while following all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve meals courteously to residents and guests
• Set up and prepare dining area and food items
• Clear and clean dining tables after meals
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions
• Adhere to health and safety regulations

Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate required
• Experience in food service preferred
• Enrollment in Food Service Worker Training Program
• Strong customer service skills necessary
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
