The University of Southampton invites applications for a Research Fellow to join the ERC-funded Uncharted Maritime Worlds project. You will identify, collect and analyse evidence from Spanish archives on maritime trade and overseas commerce between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries.
You will transcribe manuscripts, extract data for the project’s integrated digital database, and work with European archival data to support comparative historical research.
