LifeLabs invites applications for a Part Time Lab Patient Technician role, requiring travel to several Patient Service Centers. You'll engage with patients to ensure accurate specimen collections and perform key lab tests. Your focus on communication and service will help patients through their diagnostic processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients and explain collection procedures
• Perform necessary phlebotomies and ECG procedures
• Handle special test collections with due diligence
• Maintain positive client relationships and respond to requests
• Complete necessary documentation for test processing
Requirements:
•Graduate from an accredited Laboratory Assistant program
•Phlebotomy and ECG training desirable
•Excellent communication and typing skills (40 wpm)
•Empathy and flexibility in patient interactions
•Commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality
