DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of the businesses at TD. You will work with experienced colleagues, receive world class training, and be part of a community of students across TD, where you will have an impact, grow as individual and experience our culture of care. Our Co-op/Intern Programming is offered with select Co-op and Internship roles and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network. This program is designed to complement your on-the job experience and features:
Leadership talks with key Leaders from across the organization
Lunch and Learns on topics such as Innovation Diversity and Inclusion and Personal Branding and so much more
The Commercial National Accounts ("CNA") team operates within TD Business Banking and provides dedicated relationship coverage to the larger commercial clients across all industry sectors. This client base is primarily designated by size and/or complexity credit facilities being extended and cash management needs. It also encompasses all commercial clients with syndicated credit facilities (regardless of size). The group consists of senior Commercial Banking professionals who combine specific industry knowledge and extensive deal structuring experience to offer a full suite of customized credit and cash management solutions to meet the complex needs of our clients. CNA coordinates closely with TD Securities for M&A; advisory, equity and other debt capital markets expertise as required.
JOB DESCRIPTION Assisting in monitoring and control activities of the portfolios, including financial covenant tracking
Assisting with credit underwriting and due diligence processes, including supporting the preparation of business, industry and financial analyses for credit applications and/or deal proposals to present to senior management
Participating in deal committee meetings to assess client’s financing needs and gain exposure to discussions on key risks and due diligence requirements necessary to make credit decisions




Developing internal stakeholder relationships and staying informed about market conditions and industry developments to contribute insights that enhance CNA's competitive position
Exposure to communicating difficult concepts; converting information to compelling business context and advice; influencing and gaining alignment across increasingly senior stakeholders
Opportunities to assist with process improvement and workflow efficiency projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business/Commerce or related field
Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term (requirement of all co-op/intern positions)
Skilled communicator with excellent writing, speaking, and interpersonal abilities
Can work collaboratively as part of team and independently
Well-versed and efficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of products, with demonstrated aptitude for using technology to improve and optimize workflow processes
Solid analytical and problem solving skills
Financial modeling experience would be an asset
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This position is a 4-month work term and will commence January 4th – April 23rd 2027.
