You will analyze climate data to support the development of the Climate Data Strategy, working on both business and technical aspects to deliver effective solutions. Your role will involve detailed data analysis and collaboration with various teams to collect requirements and validate findings. Furthermore, you will contribute to data modeling and pipeline design, ensuring quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and lead data activities for climate risk initiatives
• Implement pipelines for data extraction and storage
• Determine standardization rules for climate data
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams
• Create complex data specifications and analysis
Requirements:
• 5+ years in data engineering or analysis roles
• Strong Python, PySpark, and SQL skills
• Familiarity with Agile workflows in data projects
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field
