As a Payroll Collections Analyst with Canadian Natural, you will serve as a key liaison between employees and internal stakeholders throughout the payroll collections process. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to coordinate recoveries, maintain accurate records, update supporting documentation, and provide clear and timely communication to employees. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities will help ensure effective and efficient payroll collections while fostering employee trust and confidence.

Key Accountabilities:
Manage employee payroll collection cases from initiation through resolution, ensuring timely and accurate administration
Review and validate collection calculations to support recovery activities and maintain payroll accuracy
Partner with Payroll, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and employees to communicate collections details, payment options, and next steps in a clear, professional, and empathetic manner
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring all case documentation is complete, compliant,
and audit-ready
Monitor and follow up on recovery activities to ensure repayment commitments are fulfilled and outstanding issues are resolved promptlyWhat You Bring to the Role:
2+ years of related experience, with a demonstrated interest in payroll, collections, or financial operations
Experience in payroll, finance, accounting, or related discipline, with exposure to collections, account reconciliation, or employee-facing financial processes considered an asset
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to professionally navigate sensitive conversations and maintain strict confidentiality
Knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and payroll administration practices
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyze data, reconcile information, and identify discrepancies
Robust organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and consistently meet deadlines
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders while providing exceptional customer service and support
