Job Description Adjust,repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
Inspect andtest mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
Adjust,repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
Adjust,repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
Repair orreplace mechanical units or components
Performscheduled maintenance service
Completereports to record problems and work performed
Coach andinstruct apprentices

Requirements Must have a secondary (high) school graduationcertificate or equivalent experience.
Must have 2years to less than 3 years of work experience.




Must haveexperience in the following areas of specialization including engine repair,electrical and electronic systems, diesel engines, diagnostics, brake systems,hydraulic systems, fuel and emission systems, ignition and electrical systems,automatic transmission, standard transmission, engine repair and overhaul,truck-trailer repair, and front-end components.
Must be able to provide a driving record check(abstract), own transportation, and a valid driver’s licence.
Must have own tools and equipment including tools andsteel-toed safety boots.
Mustdemonstrate personal suitability including dependability, reliability, abilityto work as a team player, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to speak in English.
Must be willing to work in agarage setting and work onsite.
