About the Role Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to support their program effectiveness in Kimberley . This hybrid role allows for strategic planning and data analysis remotely, while requiring regular in-office engagement for team collaboration and reporting. You will be responsible for designing and implementing M&E; frameworks, collecting and analyzing program data, and generating reports that inform program improvements and demonstrate impact. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of M&E; methodologies, and a commitment to evidence-based decision-making. Your work will be critical in ensuring accountability and optimizing the outcomes of our client's initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation (M&E;) plans and frameworks.
Design data collection tools and methodologies (surveys, interviews, focus groups).
Collect, clean, and analyze program data to assess progress and impact.
Prepare regular M&E; reports, highlighting key findings, lessons learned, and recommendations.
Support program teams in data utilization for adaptive management and decision-making.
Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the M&E; process.
Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in the non-profit sector.
Strong understanding of M&E; principles, methods, and tools.
Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Excel) and database management.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Experience working in a hybrid capacity, managing tasks both remotely and from the office.
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
