This job, involves both shore and marine work locations, in aquaculture related activities in the culture of mussels and oysters.
The majority of duties are outside and in various weather conditions. Specific work relates to the collection and care of mussel and oyster seed, the maintenance of crop, and harvesting.
The employee would have to be comfortable working aboard a boat, as well as general duties ashore. Required oil skins and boots will be supplied. Prior experience is not necessary with instructions and training provided as needed. The job requires attention to detail, ability to follow directions and promptness.
