Perform maintenance and repair of heavy construction and maintenance equipment, including plow and sanding trucks, loaders, graders, and light support gear
Follow manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures
Engage in and participate in Ledcor safety policies and procedures
Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
Work in a shop-based environment with travel to various field operations required
Work Monday to Friday on 10-hour shifts
Requirements
Must have a 310T Truck and Coach ticket from a recognized provincial authority, or a Red Seal On-Road ticket
Previous experience working with heavy civil construction and/or highway paving and highway maintenance equipment would be an asset
421A Heavy Equipment Technician ticket is an asset
Valid driver's license and ability to provide a 3-year driver's abstract
Ability to understand and effectively carry out verbal and written instructions
Ability to read sketches and diagrams
Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
