Compensation:26.00-31.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are looking for a capable, hands-on Winter Walkway Crew Lead to guide a small team through the Snow + Ice season.
This is a working leadership role for someone who leads by example, values structure and communication, and wants to help build a dependable sidewalk operation.

What You'll Do Complete daily circle checks on assigned equipment
Report mechanical issues and safety concerns promptly
Ensure equipment is clean, maintained, fueled, and field-ready
Lead and support a 2-3 person crew
Assign tasks and keep work flowing efficiently
Conduct site checks to confirm safety and quality standards
Ensure entrances, walkways, stairs, and ramps are cleared properly
Use mobile applications to record time, crew performance, and service reports
Maintain communication with dispatch and supervisors
Resolve on-site issues professionally
Support crew morale during long and demanding events
Reinforce PPE and Health and Safety policies
Report maintenance, access, staffing, and operational concerns promptly
What We're Looking For Valid G-Class Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract
Experience leading a crew or acting as a reliable field lead
Experience with snow removal or winter equipment
Ability to work safely in cold, wet, dark, and high-pressure conditions
Reliable transportation to the dispatch location
Comfortable using a smartphone for communication and reporting
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Availability for evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and storm-call shifts
