Caron Equipment seeks a dedicated Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator to strengthen our safety culture. Engage actively with employees and promote compliance in construction and mining operations.
As a key member of the HSE team at Caron Equipment, you'll support the development and improvement of our health, safety, and environmental programs. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in building relationships and driving a proactive safety agenda within our operations. Collaborate closely with employees and management to ensure safety policies are followed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote HSE programs and policies across the company
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and hazard assessments
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Support employee training and safety meetings regularly
• Maintain accurate HSE records and compliance monitoring
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in relevant industries
• Robust knowledge of OHSA, WSIB, and environmental standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with MS Office and HSE systems
• Valid Class G driver’s license is necessary
