In this role, you will assist the Active Living Manager in the planning and implementation of programs that provide joy and fulfillment for residents. You will also ensure effective communication with all stakeholders and keep accurate records of activities. Continuous learning about best practices in senior care will be a key part of your role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in creating meaningful programs for residents
• Document participation and maintain department records
• Maintain robust communication with residents and staff
• Organize resident outings and assess activity levels
• Support meal services as necessary
Requirements:
• College diploma in Recreation, Gerontology, or similar required
• Experience with seniors is preferred
• Competency in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
• Valid driver's license for transporting residents
