Shamrock Animal Hospital in Comox, BC is looking for a full time Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT). Bring your skills in anesthesia, patient care, and clinical procedures to support our veterinary team.

We seek a compassionate RVT to enhance the level of care for our patients. Ideal candidates will have completed a Veterinary Technician program and have exposure to a clinical setting, enhancing their patient assessment and technical skills. Your role will greatly contribute to the well-being of animals in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
• Carry out venipuncture and place IV catheters
• Assess patients for clinical symptoms and treatment
• Maintain excellent communication with pet owners
• Uphold the standards of care throughout the hospital

Requirements:
• Veterinary Technician program completion for registration
• Previous veterinary hospital experience preferred
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ongoing commitment to learning and development
• Capability to adapt to changing priorities
