Candidates must attain experience in customer service as well as making deliveries or working as a driver.
Candidates are responsible for a temporary on-call mail carrier or delivery agent.
Candidates will have the option to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends, as an on-call postal clerk.
Job requirement Candidates must have the ability to sort and prepare the day’s deliveries for the depot, as well as load and drive a Canada Post mail van.
They will have to spend the most of their time outside, delivering mail and deliveries to people along their route either on foot or by car.




Returning to the depot is also necessary so they can unload the day’s incoming mail and goods for later delivery.
Candidates must be able to operate material handling equipment, receive and accept mail, sort, scan, sequence, and batch mail.
Candidates have to perform postal clerk activities as needed and submit reports and paperwork on schedule.
Work setting Candidates must hold a current Class 5 or Class G driver’s license and have maintained a three‑year safety record.
They possess the physical stamina required to carry and lift packages weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) and 22.7 kg (50 lb), respectively, on a daily basis.
They can work in any kind of weather and are available to be on call, possibly on the weekends and in the evenings.
They must be literate in both English and French, and should be able to read and write.
Candidates will receive highly competitive payment.
