Interior Health is seeking a qualified anatomical pathologist for its Department of Laboratory Medicine. This role is integral to our team of 44 regional pathologists serving a diverse population of approximately 750,000. The position offers opportunities to support surgical pathology and autopsy services while also contributing to the education of medical students at the Southern Medical Program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide diagnostic surgical pathology and autopsy services
• Consult on over 100,000 surgical pathology specimens annually
• Collaborate with a team of regional pathologists
• Engage in academic activities with UBC's Southern Medical Program
• Participate in ongoing recruitment for additional positions
Requirements:
• Fellowship training or equivalent academic experience
• Proficiency in general surgical pathology practices
• Commitment to quality diagnostic services
