The Chance
Are you passionate about creating a welcoming dining experience for older adults? As a Dietary Aide at Chartwell, you’ll ensure residents and guests enjoy delicious meals served with warmth and attention to detail. Your friendly service, organization, and commitment to quality will help make every mealtime special.
What You’ll Do
Take and deliver tableside food and beverage orders promptly and professionally
Provide attentive service that reflects residents’ preferences and personal tastes
Set up the dining room and clear tables following Chartwell standards
Maintain clean and organized area to ensure safety and efficiency
Wash, dry, and store dishes, and equipment while following all health & safety rules
What You’ll Bring
Secondary School education or equivalent
Food Handler Certification (training provided if not already certified)
Experience as server or in customer service role
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced setting and attentive to detail

Additional Requirements
Ability to work flexible schedule,
including weekends and evenings
Physical ability to meet job demands, including standing for long periods, lifting and carrying heavy items, and handling kitchen tools safely
Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
