Min. Experience
At least 1 years Canadian home support and childcare and household management experience experiences are required.
First aid certification and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training as an asset.
Mandarin ability an asset.

Training and successful completion of caregiving education program.
Job Details
Provide care and companionship for employer’s 3 years old child. Occasionally taking care of the employer’s senior parents who only speaks Chinese.
This is a full time position with 30 hours per week. Work hours may vary depending on the needs of the child, and you may occasionally be required to work weekends or night shifts when necessary. Work hours can be adjusted based on real-time needs.
10 days paid leave after completing 1 year of employment.
Supervising and caring for 3-year-old child in a safe and nurturing environment.
Providing companionship and ensuring the child’s emotional well-being.
Preparing and serving nutritious meals for the child and assisting with feeding as necessary.
Planning and engaging in daily age-appropriate activities such as storytelling, singing, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
Maintaining daily routines, including naptime, playtime, and personal hygiene for the child.
Ensuring the child’s safety at all times, including during outings to the park or other recreational activities.
Teaching basic social skills, language development, and encouraging positive behavior.
Performing light housekeeping related to child care, such as cleaning and sanitizing toys, organizing play areas, and washing the child’s laundry.
Occasionally assisting with minor household tasks, such as vacuuming, mopping floors, washing dishes, and making beds, as long as these do not interfere with child care responsibilities.
