Our banking client is seeking a JrBusiness Analyst (1+ years) to support client migration initiatives using SFTP and host-to-host communication- 41381
Contract Duration: 12 months
Location: Scarborough/Hybrid- 3 days in office (Thursday mandatory and two days are flexible)
Schedule Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9-5pm.
Reason for Opening: Support a one – year client migration project.
Story Behind the Need:
The team is undertaking a large-scale migration initiative involving approximately 400 customers transitioning from a legacy application to a current platform. This role will support the migration process by analyzing customer inbound files, reviewing file requirements, making necessary system configuration changes, and ensuring a seamless customer transition. Customers utilize host-to-host communication by submitting data files that are processed through the Bank's applications.

Role Responsibilities / Typical Day in Role:
Support the seamless migration of clients from a legacy platform to a new application.
Review customer file requirements and analyze inbound files.
Make the necessary administrative and system configuration changes
Activate customers and support go – live activates
Contact customers as required and monitor successful post – migration processing.
Performance Measurement:
Weekly one on one
How many customers can migrate and how many of those customers are impacted.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
Minimum 1+ year of experience in Cash Management.
Hands-on experience supporting client migration or implementation projects.
Experience with SFTP setup, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
Strong attention to detail.
Customer support or client-facing experience is considered an asset.
Experience managing and engaging with stakeholders.
Educational Requirements:
Post-secondary education in Information Technology (IT) or a related field.
Best VS. Average Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with host – to – host communication and SFTP processes, along with a strong background in cash management and client migration projects. They will also possess excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manager customer interactions effectively throughout the migration process. An average candidate may have some exposure to these areas but will have less hands-on experience with client migrations, SFTP troubleshooting, and customer-facing responsibilities.
