Job Description
The Director, Clinical Operations and Transitions Victoria Hospital (VH) Project is a key leader in Saskatchewan health care, partnering with system leaders to achieve our province’s healthcare goals. Reporting to the Executive Director Acute Care North East, the Director is responsible for contributing to the development and achievement of strategy by articulating gaps and needs. The Director supports strategy through the development and execution of operational and business plans, including cascading, monitoring, reporting, and course correction of same. The Director demonstrates strong leadership to enable an innovative and positive working climate and a client-centric culture. The Director must work cross functionally within the portfolio and across the organization to support operations. The Director will develop partnerships and work closely with system and community partners.

Experience
Seven (7) years leadership experience
Clinical experience in health care
Leader who has developed planning and programs in multi-stakeholder setting
Licenses
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

The ideal candidate is an accomplished healthcare leader with experience leading complex operational transformation and organizational change within a healthcare environment. They will bring the leadership, strategic thinking and project discipline required to support operational readiness, facility activation and transition planning for a major healthcare capital project.
The successful candidate will excel at integrating clinical and operational planning, workforce readiness, technology, equipment, facilities, workflow redesign and change management while building strong relationships across clinical, operational and executive teams.
Experience with healthcare redevelopment, operational readiness, facility activation, or comparable large-scale healthcare transformation initiatives would be a significant asset.
