Become a vital part of Aspotogan Cons. Elementary School as a Support Early Childhood Educator, focusing on inclusive practices and developmental support in the Pre-primary Program.

In this position with the South Shore Regional Centre for Education, you will support the Lead Early Childhood Educator in delivering an engaging and nurturing educational experience. Your role involves implementing the Nova Scotia Early Learning Curriculum Framework while ensuring all children’s needs are met within an inclusive environment. Collaborative work with families and other educators will enhance the children’s early learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create an engaging learning setting for young children
• Collaborate with the Lead ECE on daily classroom management




• Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities
• Document and assess children's developmental milestones
• Invite family and community participation in the program

Requirements:
• ECE Level 2 or 3 preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in early education
• Certification in First Aid
• Background checks required
• Knowledge of child development and play-based learning
