Become a vital part of Kiwassa Neighbourhood House as the Out of School Care Team Lead in East Vancouver. Oversee childcare initiatives that foster inclusivity and engagement.

Kiwassa Neighbourhood House is hiring an Out of School Care Team Lead to enhance its childcare programs. This permanent, part time position involves planning inclusive activities, organizing supplies, and collaborating with the Childcare Manager. With a focus on developmentally appropriate activities, you will help create a nurturing environment for children, typically working from 2 pm to 6 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement child-centered activities tailored to diverse groups
• Oversee daily program operations and adherence to guidelines




• Communicate with families regarding children’s progress
• Train, orient, and supervise program volunteers
• Stay informed about current childcare practices and standards

Requirements:
• Diploma in human/social service field preferred
• At least two years of relevant childcare experience
• Early Childhood Educator certification an asset
• Obtain Emergency Childcare First Aid within three months
• Clear Criminal Record Check requirement
