Position Highlights
Medical Director role for a specialized Adult Mood Disorders inpatient unit
Lead and collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary treatment team
Provide direct inpatient psychiatric care for adults with mood, anxiety and trauma-related disorders
Participate in resident supervision and medical student teaching
Academic appointment eligibility through Quinnipiac University’s Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine
Dedicated academic time with a Psychiatry Residency Program
Monday–Friday schedule
No required after-hours call
Optional moonlighting opportunities

Comprehensive behavioral health continuum including adult, dual diagnosis and child/adolescent inpatient services
Emergency, consult-liaison, geriatric, intensive outpatient and outpatient behavioral health services

Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Eligible for unrestricted Connecticut medical licensure
Interest in academic psychiatry, teaching and leadership
