Ontario Northland is looking for an Electrical Signal Maintainer in Gravenhurst. This role focuses on the upkeep and repair of signal systems critical for rail traffic.
As a Signal Maintainer, you will handle the maintenance and construction of signal apparatus while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This position may require work outdoors in various weather conditions, highlighting the need for positive physical health and resilience. Experience in the electrical/electronic field will be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and handle repairs on signal equipment
• Execute scheduled testing and maintain compliance records
• Assist in altering and installing signal systems
• Resolve emergency repair situations outside regular hours
• Manage division-specific work equipment responsibly
Requirements:
• Must have a Secondary School Diploma or GED
• Background in electrical/electronics preferred
• Valid Ontario driver’s license required
• Ability to travel often for necessary training
