In your role as a Seasonal Operator, you will be an integral part of our team in Smithers, Carnaby, or Stewart, BC. Reporting to the Road Foreperson, you will utilize your two years of road maintenance experience to operate heavy equipment effectively. The position requires a commitment to safety, collaboration, and attention to operational details while performing snow removal and essential maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safe operation of machinery during winter
• Clear ice and snow to maintain road integrity




• Collaborate with team members on various tasks
• Complete daily work and maintenance logs
• Conduct minor equipment maintenance as required

Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 or 3 Drivers license is necessary
• Two years of relevant road maintenance experience
• Experience with snow removal preferred
• Knowledge of road construction practices and materials
• Proficient in electronic reporting systems
