About the Role Our client is searching for a highly organized and analytical Production Planner to join their team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This crucial role involves creating and managing production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing costs. You will work closely with sales, operations, and procurement teams to forecast production needs, ensure timely material availability, and manage workflow to maximize efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses strong planning and forecasting skills, coupled with an in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, enabling them to drive operational excellence from a remote location.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address changes or unexpected issues.
Collaborate with production teams to optimize line efficiency and throughput.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar scheduling role.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning principles.
Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., ERP systems, MRP) and advanced Excel skills.
