Red Deer Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist II for its Operating Room team in Central Alberta. This role focuses on intraoperative care, working closely with anesthesia.

As a Respiratory Therapist II, you will coordinate and assess clinical services, ensuring effective therapy assessment and treatment in the Operating Room. Leadership, critical thinking, and adaptability are crucial as you develop respiratory care plans and monitor advanced treatments. You'll also engage in interprofessional rounds and support the development of clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate respiratory therapy assessments and treatments
• Develop and implement care plans for patients
• Maintain and manage respiratory equipment and supplies




• Participate in daily interprofessional rounds and meetings
• Assist in clinical protocol development and operations

Requirements:
• Active registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta
• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Experience in the operating room is preferred
• Solid communication and collaboration skills
• Problem-solving aptitude and time management abilities
