Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounting Coordinator ensures financial accuracy and compliance for all programs. You will handle bookkeeping, maintain financial files, and provide insights to improve operational policies. Key Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable, cheque runs, and credit card transactions
• Execute monthly bank and GL reconciliations
• Maintain vendor and customer databases accurately
• Ensure invoices are allocated correctly to budget lines
• Prepare statutory reports and assist with audits
Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years experience in accounting, preferably in non-profit
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting practices
• Proficient analytical problem-solving skills
• Intermediate skills in MS Excel and other office software
• Commitment to the Centre's mission and values
