About This Role Reporting to the Manager, Information Systems, the Enterprise Applications Developer is responsible for the development, configuration, integration, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and technical support of enterprise business applications and related technologies. The incumbent works with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to translate functional and technical requirements into reliable application solutions. The role focuses on hands-on application development and configuration, workflow automation, integrations, data management, reporting, release support, and technical problem resolution across the organization's enterprise application portfolio.
Application Development and Configuration Develop, configure, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications, workflows, forms, business rules, validations, and automation.
Translate documented functional and technical requirements into application designs and working solutions.
Prepare and maintain technical specifications, configuration documentation, data mappings, and deployment records.
Participate in solution design reviews and recommend practical technical approaches within established architecture and security standards.
Support application upgrades, releases, patches, and enhancement initiatives.
Systems Integration and Automation Develop, configure, maintain, and monitor integrations, interfaces, APIs, scheduled processes, and automated data exchanges between enterprise applications.
Document system interfaces, dependencies, integration logic, error handling, and data flows.
Troubleshoot integration failures and data exchange issues and coordinate resolution with internal technical resources and vendors.
Assess the impact of application changes on connected systems and business processes.
Data Management, Reporting and Analytics Develop and maintain operational reports, dashboards, queries, calculated fields, extracts, charts, and data visualizations.
Support data migration, conversion, transformation, validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and archival activities.




Monitor data quality, investigate inconsistencies, and implement corrective controls and mitigation measures.
Document application data structures, relationships, definitions, and reporting logic.
Work with stakeholders to translate reporting and information needs into sustainable technical solutions.
Testing, Deployment and Technical Support Develop and execute unit, functional, integration, regression, and deployment test scripts.
Support user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios, resolving defects, and validating technical changes.
Package, document, and deploy approved configuration and application changes in accordance with change and release management practices.
Provide advanced application support, investigate defects and performance concerns, and resolve or escalate complex issues.
Monitor application jobs, interfaces, and technical processes and take corrective action when failures occur.
Documentation, User Enablement and Collaboration Develop and maintain technical procedures, support documentation, knowledge articles, configuration guides, and user instructions.
Provide technical guidance and training related to new functionality, enhancements, and application use.
Support application super users and collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve system issues.
Coordinate technical work with software vendors, consultants, managed service providers, and internal IT teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development, configuration, data, testing, deployment, and support practices.
Knowledge and Experience Post-secondary education in computer science, information systems, software development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with enterprise platforms such as Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Power Platform and PowerApps, grants management, case management, workflow, reporting, and business intelligence applications.
Experience developing solutions within Microsoft cloud technologies or comparable enterprise application ecosystems.
Experience supporting DevOps, automated testing, continuous integration, or deployment pipelines.
Approximately three to five years of experience developing, configuring, integrating, testing, and supporting enterprise applications.
Experience developing workflows, business rules, forms, reports, dashboards, queries, and application automations.
Experience working with APIs, integrations, interfaces, scheduled processes, data transformation, and system-to-system data exchange.
Experience with relational data concepts, data mapping, migration,



validation, reconciliation, cleansing, and quality controls.
Experience with application lifecycle management, version control, change management, release management, defect tracking, and technical documentation.
Experience troubleshooting applications, integrations, reporting, and data issues in cloud-based or SaaS environments.
Working knowledge of security roles, access controls, privacy, and secure development and configuration practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments, work independently within established standards, and collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
Assets Experience with low-code or no-code development platforms, integration platforms, reporting tools, or data visualization technologies.
Knowledge of SQL, scripting, web services, REST APIs, JSON, XML, or comparable integration and data technologies.
Additional Information This is for an existing position.
Salary Range: $83,342.00 - $94,730.00
