About the Role Our client is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to manage and contribute to municipal infrastructure projects within Kimberley . This role involves working closely with local government bodies to plan, design, and oversee the implementation of essential services such as roads, water supply, sanitation, and stormwater management systems. You will play a vital part in enhancing the public infrastructure and quality of life for the community. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, and manage municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water reticulation, and sewer networks.
Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimates, and tender documents for public works.
Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications, budgets, and timelines.
Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Liaise with municipal officials, contractors,



and community representatives.
Ensure all projects comply with relevant municipal bylaws, national standards, and environmental regulations.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in municipal or public works infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software.
Strong knowledge of South African municipal standards and regulations.
Experience in managing public tenders and contracts is advantageous.
Registered with ECSA as a Skilled Engineer or Technologist.
