Overview Jabil is a global leader in engineering, supply chain, and advanced manufacturing solutions, with more than 100 locations worldwide. We're opening a new 300,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Prince George, VA, that will support the growing energy infrastructure industry. As a material handler, you'll help handle critical power management and control systems used in data centers, utilities, and industrial power applications. You'll join a fast-growing team in a modern facility where safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement are key. Production begins in Fall 2026, creating exciting opportunities for career growth in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.
Pay Pay: $22.00 hourly
Schedule Schedule: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Summary The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, verifying, storing, and distributing materials to support manufacturing operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy, timely material availability, and efficient material flow by utilizing ERP systems, RF scanners, forklifts, and other material handling equipment while adhering to safety, quality, and inventory control standards.




Key Responsibilities Manage the receipt of incoming materials, including unloading shipments, verifying quantities and documentation, and performing system transactions to ensure inventory accuracy.
Receive, store, stage, and issue materials to support production schedules and operational requirements.
Perform inventory and material transactions using ERP systems and RF scanning devices.
Transport materials safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other approved equipment.
Verify material quantities, part numbers, and inventory accuracy prior to issuance.
Support line-side replenishment, inventory control, cycle counts, and stock audits.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with FIFO and traceability requirements.
Load, unload, and move materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse and production support environment.
Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum one year of experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, receiving, or material handling operations preferred.
Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
Proficiency using RF scanners and inventory management systems.




Forklift and pallet jack experience required; certification preferred.
Robust organizational, inventory control, and attention-to-detail skills.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
The hourly pay range for this role is $14.86 - $26.73.
