Join Extendicare Country Side in Sudbury, Ontario, as a part time Dietary Aide. This position centers on supporting meal services and kitchen hygiene for our residents.

Reporting to the Dietary Manager, your role as a Dietary Aide involves assisting in the preparation and serving of meals within a 256-bed long-term care facility. You will ensure that food maintains proper temperature and adheres to residents' individual diets. Cleanliness and safety in the kitchen are critical responsibilities as you participate in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve food based on dietary preferences
• Assist in the cleaning and prepping of uncooked foods
• Operate dishwashers and clean kitchen equipment
• Label and store dietary supplies properly
• Assemble nourishment carts for residents

Requirements:
• Enrollment or completion of a Food Handlers Program
• 0-1 years of dietary experience in LTC preferred
• Must stand for extended periods
• Proficient in English for comprehension
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting
