Residential Childcare Support Worker
Location: Langford, Bristol
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Specific Hours: 38 hours per week
Unqualified: Base salary of £27,866.34, earning up to £33,447.67 with sleep-in shifts
Qualified: Base salary of £29,181.57, earning up to £34,762.90 with sleep-in shifts

We’re now recruiting Residential Childcare Workers to join our home!
About the Role Based in one of our children’s residential homes, you’ll support young people with challenging behaviour, requiring flexibility, resilience, honesty and solid organisational skills. You’ll be committed to delivering high‑quality care that helps each young person achieve positive outcomes.




This is a permanent role with great career prospects and full training within a growing organisation. You’ll work an average of 38 hours per week on a two days on / four days off shift pattern, including two sleep‑ins . You’ll also receive generous allowances for bank holidays, overtime and a performance‑related bonus.
A full UK manual driving licence
The ability to work independently with accuracy and maintain clear, organised records
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive team‑player approach
Ability to complete daily records to statutory and policy standards
An empathetic, patient and supportive approach
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to engage, motivate and encourage young people
Experience working with young people
A relevant Level 3 Children & Young People qualification, or willingness to work towards one, which will be fully funded by the employer
