Job Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, responsible for all Aftermarket channel sales activities, strategy execution, growth, profitability, customer relationships, and distribution objectives. Our client is the exclusive distributor of premium lubricants in Canada across automotive, heavy-duty, and industrial sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the company's lubricant sales across Canada's automotive aftermarket channel, managing key distributor relationships, dealer groups, and service networks.
This position manages 1 direct report, a Sales Analyst. The Sales Director reports to the VP of Sales.
Key Accountabilities
· Develop annual and quarterly sales plans
· Achieve volume, share, and profit goals
· Manage key customer relationships
· Manage channel budgets and P&L; impact
· Evaluate market and competitive activity
· Coordinate with Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance
· Lead distribution strategy and forecasting
· Provide business updates to VP Sales

Education & Experience
· University degree required
· 7 to 10 years sales or marketing management experience
· Automotive lubricants or related industry experience
· Retail and commercial channel experience
· CPG experience is an asset
· Senior level P&L; experience preferred
· Strong Microsoft Office skills

Candidates must possess:
- A university degree (college diploma candidates will not be considered)
- AND at least one of the following:
- - Deep lubricant/oil industry knowledge
- Direct experience selling to aftermarket customers such as NAPA, Bumper to Bumper, automotive distributors, dealer groups, or repair networks
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary approximately $160K to $170K. Can go higher, depending on experience.
