Halo Car Wash is a new, next-generation express exterior car wash expanding across Canada and is designed to deliver the ultimate car wash experience. With our self-loading conveyor belts, automatic pay terminals, wash memberships, free vacuums, environmentally friendly soaps and industry-leading water treatment system, the Canadian consumer will experience a wash like no other.
We are searching for an Industrial Electrician or Industrial Mechanic to join a dynamic and growing team. This role is ideal for an electrically and mechanically inclined professional with a passion for hands-on work, problem solving, and a desire to grow within a supportive and safety-focused environment! Note: This is an overnight shift position from 12:00 am to 8:30 am.
What You'll Do
As a Halo Service Team Member, you will:
- Repair and maintain electrical, mechanical, plumbing and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect equipment and monitor wash quality at assigned sites.
- Complete assigned work and document all activities in MaintainX.
- Manage spare parts inventory, including ordering parts and performing inventory counts.
- Help improve processes with best practice sharing and open communication.
- Work closely with the Operations Team to coordinate maintenance activities and provide daily summaries of completed work.
- Partner with third-party service providers when required.
- Support the design, installation, and commissioning of equipment at existing and new sites.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of relevant electrical and mechanical experience.
- Red Seal certification (442A or 433A).
- Ability to work overnight shifts.
- Knowledge of equipment and electrical safety standards.
- Familiarity with 24, 120, 208, and 575 VAC circuits and components.
- Experience with PLCs and VFDs.
- Arc welding experience (asset).
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Skilled, adaptable, and collaborative attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Supervisory experience not required but considered an asset.
