A little bit about our team: The People team sits at the heart of Warner Music Group and is focused on attracting, retaining and developing exceptional people, enabling them to be the best they can be to drive Warner’s continued success in the marketplace. The team designs, implements and facilitates People programs around Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development,
Employee Engagement, Compensation and Benefits and People Experience and Solutions. Our team also partners with the business to support key organisational initiatives. Your role: The Senior People Partner, Global Tech is a fixed term role (12-18 months) and will act as a hands-on strategic partner for global business leaders on all matters regarding People. This individual will act as a liaison between COEs and business partners in support of thoughtful organizational growth and people development. The Senior People Partner will develop an intimate understanding of the Technology organization and use data to be a partner to senior leadership and department heads on both reactive and proactive initiatives including: employee engagement, organizational development & restructuring, defining and monitoring good org health, talent development and employee relations. Here you’ll get to: Drive people programs for distributed Engineering and Technology business units across North America, Europe and India, partnering seamlessly with local partners to deliver unified, high-impact people solutions. Take a leadership role in influencing cultural transformation and the adoption of new technologies and people processes. Be a strategic advisor and coach to senior leaders on all matters regarding people.
Manage the successful investigation and resolution of employee relations matters. Own end-to-end change management initiatives delivering meaningful impact to the organization.
About you: 8+ years experience as a People Partner (HRBP), HR generalist or equivalent. Global experience in talent and organizational development, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and employment law. Experience leading business groups through change in a hyper-growth/rapid paced environment. Strong organization and project management skills. Outstanding influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and pivoting focus as business priorities evolve. Proven ability to effectively manage senior stakeholders and clients. Working understanding of employment law and other government compliance regulations.

Results-oriented with strong execution and follow-up skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with many different personalities.
Familiarity working with Google Workspace and Workday.
Compensation: This fixed-term 12-18 month position offers a base salary of $130,000 - $160,000 CAD. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a performance based annual bonus.
