Drive strategic fundraising efforts at UBC as the Senior Associate Director, Gift & Estate Planning. Focus on building relationships and achieving significant funding targets.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of major gift fundraising with a goal to secure $5M+ annually through high-level solicitations. Collaborating closely with faculty, alumni, and senior leadership, you’ll enhance UBC’s fundraising capabilities while managing a diverse portfolio of prospects. This position calls for robust analytical skills and a commitment to developing inclusive practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design strategic fundraising approaches for major gift prospects
• Conduct personal solicitations and maintain donor recognition
• Lead projects to drive funding initiatives at the university
• Mentor development staff in best practices and strategies
• Maintain deep knowledge of university fundraising priorities
Requirements:
• Relevant undergraduate degree
• Minimum 8 years of related experience
• Proven record in major gift fundraising
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and equity
