Are you an experienced HLTA, Higher Level Teaching Assistant or experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in the Whitby area?

Castle Education are looking for passionate and reliable HLTAs to work across primary schools in Whitby and the surrounding areas, supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Whether you are looking for regular work, a few days each week or occasional supply work around your existing commitments, we can offer the flexibility to choose when you work.

The Role

Covering classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

Delivering pre planned lessons

Leading whole class activities

Supporting pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis

Providing targeted support for pupils with additional needs

Supporting teachers with classroom management

Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and key skills

Supporting learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment

Taking on additional responsibilities within the classroom or wider school

Who We’re Looking For

Experience working across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 would be beneficial, alongside robust classroom management skills and a genuine passion for supporting pupils.
