Why join our team?

The candidate will have to manage the procurement of parts coming from internal and external suppliers. They will have to plan the requirements, place the orders, manage the shortages, and communicate priorities to the supplier and to internal customers. They will also have to manage the urgencies related with the engine line in order to avoid potential line stoppage. The candidate will be encouraged to propose and implement creative and robust solutions for procurement issues.

What will your day-to-day look like?

- Manage the relationship and performance of a portfolio of suppliers.
- Deliver daily, weekly and monthly outputs as per master build plan.
- Responsible for the escalation process on critical path parts.
- Lead various process improvement projects.
- Provisioning of engine parts from outside vendors in the aftermarket.





What do you need to be successful?

- Be eligible to work in Canada.
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
- Pursuing a degree in Administration, industrial engineering, logistic engineering or supply chain management.
- Candidate must be bilingual.
- Teamwork & communication skills.
- Logistic problem solving.
- Leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English (spoken/written).

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
