Focus on youth wellness and recovery as a Youth and Family Addiction Counsellor with Vancouver Island Health Authority. This temporary full-time position is dedicated to providing vital intervention and support services for young people in need.
You will engage with youth and their families to identify treatment needs and implement therapeutic strategies. Drawing from your recent experience in addiction counselling, you will facilitate individualized assessments and goal-oriented treatment plans. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct intake assessments and treatment evaluations

Requirements:
• Relevant degree in human services or counseling
• Two years of experience in youth addiction counselling
• Proficient in therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices
• Robust interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites for work
