Cape Breton University (CBU) is looking for a Research Project Community Coordinator for the WellNS Nova Scotia Mental Wellness Survey project . This is a Full time Limited Term role for approximately 12 months . This is an externally funded role.

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to promote mental wellness and resilience across Nova Scotia. Your work will focus on engaging with diverse communities, fostering relationships, and ensuring inclusive participation in the survey process.

Key responsibilities include mobilizing community stakeholders, coordinating a provincial network of student researchers, and promoting cultural sensitivity throughout the project. You will also be involved in research support activities, including recruiting study subjects, conducting focus groups, and preparing research documentation.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience and a master’s degree in health or social sciences. Strong community engagement skills, proficiency in MS Office,



and effective communication abilities are essential.
