What You'll Do
Set up and operate manual surface grinding equipment
Perform precision grinding of tool steel components
Work with fixtures, blocks, and tooling setups
Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to machine precision components
Perform machine adjustments, offsets, and program verification
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Hold tight tolerances and maintain high-quality standards
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
Support machining and tooling operations as needed
What You Need
2+ years of machining, surface grinding, tool & die, or Wire EDM experience
Hands-on experience with manual surface grinding equipment and Wire EDM preferred
Experience with Mitsubishi, Makino, Fanuc, or similar Wire EDM equipment is a plus
Experience working with tool steel strongly preferred
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
Experience maintaining tight tolerances on precision components
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
45-50 hours/week, including regular overtime opportunities
